arashi arashi for hilarious boyband survey
fivil fused together this awesome meme for her favorite tw/korean bands, and it made me laugh so hard that I had to steal. So here is not quite the definitive, but definitely intrusive boy band questionnaire. 1. What is the name of your selected group, and no, you cannot pick all of JE or I will hit you with a stick with spike on it?

3. Okay, but how many members does this group have? Five!
4. Is the number dividable with two? With most really awesome bands it is but stop crying if it's not, 13 is okay, too. No....FIVE IS A REALLY AWESOME NUMBER TOO!
5. Out of this group, who would you marry in a heartbeat because who doesn't love fictional weddings (the last one is rhetorical)? I kind of want to say Aiba, because he's so adorable and cute, but really, my heart belongs to Jun.
6. Have you actually planned out this wedding with this guy, in a very detailed manner, and decided who you will invite? Like you won't invite member X because he sucks and all his fangirls are fucking crazy.
Suprisingly, no. Although I have planned out numerous other storylines in my head, including but not limited to crazy meet ups in random cities or body switch. Oh dear god. Although, if we did get married, I'm fairly certain Jun would plan everything, because he's kind of fashion and style obsessed like that. And I fear for the fate of my wedding dress. Have you seen Jun's fashion taste?
7. Who of this group are the gayest gays that ever gayed? If you say none, you're into the wrong group.
As an individual--oh god, hands down Jun. THAT SCARF IN LOVE SO SWEET. QED. Qed, my friend. And as a pairing, probably Ohmiya. I mean, they already sleep together....
8. And which pairing is just plain married, at least in your head, when you're tired and thinking of really dumb shit like that?
Ohmiya. Hands down. I don't even have to be tired to know that they're married. After all, they go to the beach together, grope each other in public, and even named their own pairing. Here--have a gif!
9. Be honest, have you even listened to their music?
Yes!

Yes...well some of it.
11. Are you lying so that fellow fans will not kill you?
Ahahaa. I've never known Arashi fans to be vicious, but maybe that's just because I know the nice ones. I like a surprisingly large amount of their stuff, considering how boyband-ish it is. Mostly, I just like their mainstream stuff, but occasionally one of their other songs will surprise me.
12. Do you genuinely believe this group holds even an ounce of actual musical talent? If a) yes, why? If b) no, are you a fan of Fahrenheit?
I believe they're all talented and special individuals....! *hides* And sadly, no I am not a fan of Fahrenheit. But wait, I'm sure I will be. I feel like they fit in with so many of my other interests...
13. If you have listened to their music and liked it, shock, what is your favourite song or some of them?
I think I have to say the original Arashi song that got me in the first place--Wish. But I also love We Can Make It, Sakura Sake, and I've recently gotten into Aiba's solo--Itsuka no Summer.
14. Which music video has them looking their absolute hottest? How many times have you watched said music video?
Hottest? Do rainbows count as hot? Hot, really? I guess "We Can Make It." They all look hot there. Seven times two plus twelve add several million. Seventy-eleven.

Well, I generally show people Kitto Daijoubu. But that's because of the rainbows and Sho driving the CG car. I actually show large amounts of people the Arashi music videos. Generally, a.ra.shi, Kitto Daijoubu, and We Can Make It. Although I feel like they tend to appreciate them for different reasons than I do...
16. Who's the best vocalist in the group? If you name the guy you want to marry, are you by any chance a Jaejoong fangirl?
Ohno....Although I really like Aiba as well.
17. Who's the best dancer? How come? Do all Koreans dance the same? Big questions.
Erm...no idea. I fail as an Arashi fan. Maybe Sho. Does he dance well? Ohno? I don't know. Koreans might all dance the same....

Not any more than other boyband member. That's just how they make 'em.

Ohno. Well, Ohno's the spaciest. And he's the riida. Sho's also pretty calm, I feel. I don't ship Ohno/Aiba, but I do kind of ship Aiba/Sho. That's cute! Ok, now I want Aiba/Sho where Aiba's being all spastic and wanting to do experiments and Sho is totally humoring him and being a buffer for Aiba's spazz. Oh god...this fandom does terrible things to my brain.
21. Has this boyband ever made you cry, for whatever reason? If yes, is your name Emily?
No...but I did get kind of teary in HYD 2 with Matsujun. Or Nino's new drama with all the children wanting korroke. What is korroke? Anyone know?
22. Does really bad fashion look really good on really hot guys? If you answered yes, you're a JE fan, there's no other explanation.
Yes and Yes. IT'S LIKE THIS WAS WRITTEN FOR ME. Anyone watch the AAA concert in Taipei? Let's just say that Arashi never fails to deliver with the sparkles. Or AMAZING costumes. See here and here. Seriously, I lucked out with Arashi. Please don't ever leave me.
23. Do you write or/and read fanfiction for this group?
I'm supposed to write an Ohmiya drabble, but I generally don't write Arashi fanfiction. D : I do however, read large amounts of it. Ohmiya is my favorite, but I like other pairings too!

Yes. I'd like to rec Barriers byadronicus . For awesome AU-- Things to Do in Uzbekistan by cimness. For sheer awesome arashi crack, Oregon Trail by breakfasting.
25. Do you have any crossover pairings for these guys? Whether it's Hyuk/Junsu (within the same entertainment company) or Yamapi/Spock (totally cracked out-of-this-world) or Shindong/Jiro (crosscultural relations ftw).
I totally ship Jun/Jin madly. I kind of also ship Aiba/Ryo. I kind of want some Jun/Hollywood action. Maybe Jun/Shia LaBeouf. I don't even know where that came from.

....it pisses me off a lot? Does this occur? I'm sure it does. I'm just so out of the fandom loop.
31. Boybands are less about performances and music videos than they are about random variety television shows where the boys spazz about and engage in all sorts of entertaining dumbness. What is your favourite appearance/moment of this sort of foolery?
THE ONE WHERE THEY COSPLAY. Yes, I'm aware that it does happen more than once, but the one I'm talking about is here. Yes. That is Ohno as a maid. Oh Captain...And Jun! I wish that I knew more random variety tv appearances. I am just fail.
32. Have you begun to study the language these guys speak just so you can know what they're saying before all the clips get translated?
I took a semester of Japanese, but that was before I even knew about Hana Yori Dango, and therefore any of the Asian world. Sadly.
33. Did you like Western boybands of the 1990's? Or are those like teh sux compared to the fantastic musical talents of these Asian groups?
I really can't pass judgement of the boybands of the 1990's. After all, I obsessively watch japaense boys do synchronized dancing in costumes that sparkle. While I do have a faint recollection of liking the Backstreet Boys, I wasn't actually that into them at the time.
34. If you could show somebody who has never seen anything with this band, what would you show them? Bonus points if you provide a youtube link for it.

36. Maybe 36 questions is enough. Besides moving in with you and having babies with you, what is the ideal future you'd like for this group? Feel free to go into a deep delusional fangirl fantasy, it's okay.
Ideal Future--they make a jdrama version of Perfect Girl Evolution and 4/5 of Arashi is in it. Ok, I really want them all, but there's only four main guys characters! I AM SORRY. Yeah...and Matsujun as Kyohei Takano, Sho as Takenaga Oda, Nino as Yuki, and Aiba as Ranmaru Morii. (I am so sorry captain...). What can I say...I love Matsujun fighting with people. As for Ohno, he'd get to also be in his own very awesome jdrama that I don't know right at this time. But it would be awesome. They would keep making videos with rainbows and sparkles, preferably with Jun wearing a scarf around his neck. But not yellow, it's really not his color.
I guess I hope that they all have successful individual careers and always stay good friends. *cries*
And there'd be lots of nice ohmiya moments. In general.
