Ok I'd kind of like to throw my computer to the ground. I just wrote up this nice long post about gossip girl, my current sleep deprivation, and Seigi no Mikata, and then my computer went and refreshed the page and deleted everything. *deep breath* I'm trying really hard to control my rage D :

Argh. Oh Well. I'll just skip to the chase and say HEY EVERYONE! If you're into Gossip Girl, and are like me and ship Blair and Dan, you neeeeeeeed to check out mardia 's awesome AU series, which you can find here or the first story in the series. I'm not sure how to pimp fics, but let me say that this is one of the best series that I've seen in any fandom. I love the detail and the writing style and the way that the author moves from canon to AU without missing a beat. She also captures what I love about the Blair/Dan pairing and how they're so different and yet they force each other to examine themselves and their beliefs. It's just fantastic.

I'd also like to recommend Seig no Mikata--the only jdrama summer series that I've watched. It's about these two sisters who are complete opposites. The eldest appears perfect but is actually terribly selfish and impolite while the younger is forced to always help out the older sister. The show is hilarious and makes me laugh constantly. Hongo Kanata also appears as one of the kids at the younger sister's high school who constantly helps her out. I might do more of a pimp post later because all of the screen caps I took are on my external, which is at my apartment.

Alright, my complete lack of sleep is making typing a little more difficult than normal, so I'm going to stop here and continue another day. But, I hope that everyone has a wonderful Labor Day!
